REELECT ORTIZ

Jack and Bev Davies, published in Ketchikan Daily News, November 4, 2022

We have known Dan Ortiz for many years and have always found him to be an honest and open person. Dan has spent a lifetime in Ketchikan, and he knows the territory, the people, and our concerns. Dan has a proven ability to work with members of all parties during his stellar career in the Alaska House of Representatives. His is the type of leadership that we need in these days of hyper-partisanship and bickering.

Dan has worked for our communities tirelessly to strengthen our economy, advance education funding and improve our transportation system. After Gov. Dunleavy gutted our ferry system, Rep. Ortiz fought hard and was successful in getting our ferry service to Prince Rupert restored. In addition, we have found him to be very responsive to individual assistance requests when the need has arisen.

As Dan is vice chair of the Finance Committee, our District cannot afford to lose his seniority in the State House.

Please join us in voting to reelect Rep. Dan Ortiz in the coming Nov. 8 election.
