LET'S CONTINUE WITH STEDMAN, ORTIZ

Ketchikan and southern Southeast Alaska are very fortunate to have two members of the Legislature in prominent positions during the last legislative session.

Sen. Stedman and Rep. Ortiz’s political efforts resulted in a large Alaska Permanent Fund dividend payout while allowing for necessary state spending and savings.

Both pushed back against our governor to ensure legitimate and critical funding for the Alaska Marine Highway System. Additionally, each supports legislation to update the Pharmacy Practice Act statutes to allow pharmacists to provide timely and necessary services throughout the state of Alaska. I do appreciate the time and efforts of the other candidates running in the election. However, Stedman and Ortiz have worked diligently, cooperatively and efficiently for years to represent our area and that is why both have my support in the upcoming election.
