I support independent Dan Ortiz in the upcoming Alaska House election. Dan Ortiz has served us well for the past eight years, as an active, transparent, and effective problem-solver for southern Southeast Alaska residents.

Whether we are thinking budget or ferries or education or fisheries — Ortiz has been there — listening and promoting solutions. The Ortiz record is strong and his accomplishments many. Dan’s role as an independent voice has allowed him to consistently caucus with the majority and to hold powerful committee positions in finance, fisheries and education. Dan, with his many years of legislative service, is now in line for an even louder voice in the next legislative go-around.
